The bodywork has been resprayed for cosmetic reasons in its original finish. The work was to a high standard and that still shows. The nice and thin panelwork is correctly aligned. The 928 has the correct wheels shod in good quality, correctly sized rubber. Other parts such as window rubbers, bumpers and pop-up headlights are all well presented and in good working order.
The car's interior is completely original. This is thanks to the car always has been in a heated garage and maintained with lots of tender love and care by its previous owners. Of course Porsche deserves credit for its use of superior materials. The comfort seats are covered in Raf leather both of which are electrically adjustable and heated. The driver's seat also has a memory function. Furthermore the car is equipped with climate control, electric sunroof, automatic transmission, a storage box, Porsche classic radio with SatNav, colour coded rear spoiler and 17 inch Cup rims. Carpets and dashboard are both in great condition. All instruments and switching gear work as intended, which is no less than you would expect from a real Porsche.
That this is a proper Porsche is beyond doubt. The 928 GTS has a 5.4 litre V8 engine delivering 350 Ps feeding a 4-speed automatic gearbox. The car is perfectly balanced with delightful predictable handling. The Porsche takes 5.9 seconds to go from zero to 100 km/hr and tops out at 275 km/hr. The torque is just amazing. There is a massive 500 Nm at 4.250 rpm. The whole car is geared to be driven at speed. The suspension is firmly dampened without being
uncomfortable, the brakes are more than up to their job and the engine appears to possess an infinite amount of power. Even at speeds over 200 km/hr the forward acceleration remains impressive. The car also enjoyed maniacal maintenance which is evident from the first metres on.
The Porsche is supplied with its original car wallet containing every book including a fully stamped service booklet. There is also a large file containing general model information and an impressive amount of invoices from dealerships and specialists who each have contributed to maintaining this wonderful Porsche 928 GTS.
In summary this is a brilliant and very well presented Porsche 928 GTS with an eye-catching finish.
