Beautiful Chevrolet Corvette C3 Stingray 5.7 Automatic Convertible
• Very extensive history.
• 15" rims with polished caps and rings and fitted with BF Goodrich tires
• Power steering
• Body in 'Flame Orange' with a Medium Saddle (Vinyl) interior
• M40 Turbo-Hydro-matic Automatic
The C3 had a new body and interior but the chassis and engines were taken over from the C2. The design came from Zora Arkus-Duntov and Bill Mitchell and was also inspired by a prototype, namely the Mako Shark II. The C3 was also available again as a convertible and coupé. The coupés had a roof panel that could be removed. This was called a T-top.
Replacing the C2 in 1968, production of the C3 and its variants continued until 1982. In the 1975 production year, a total of 38,465 C3s were made, of which only 3,030 in the 'Flame Orange'
This Stingray convertible is in an excellent and condition. The body has been repainted in the 'Flame orange' paint, there is no rust on the car, the fitting seams are beautiful.
The color combination of this C3 is very tasteful, the orange body provides a very nice contrast with the beautiful chrome.
This Stingray was originally delivered new in the USA in July 1975. Registered on German registration since 2013 and the 'H-Zulassung' as a classic car from 2018
This rust free C3 in good condition has been partly restored in the past. The paint job has been redone and still in good condition. The fits of the sills, fenders, doors and hood are very nice.
The very extensive well-documented history, consisting of a file folder, including the original 'build sticker', original purchase invoice, many workshop invoices from the 1970s!
Popular options such as the M40 Turbo-Hydro-matic Automatic, power steering and the chrome luggage rack complete the picture.
Technically this Corvette is also in good condition. This is substantiated, among other things, by the Dekra technical inspection report.
This timeless Corvette convertible is ready to enjoy.
