Exceptionally clean and original 1973 Ferrari 365 GT4 2+2. This example is in possession of a unique colour combination of 'Blu Ribot' opposite a 'Connolly leather Pelle' beige interior. On 30 July 1973, the car walked off the assembly line at the factory with production number #117 and bodywork #81/GT. The original Italian-made Ferrari was delivered new by the official Ferrari dealer 'Pedini Auto S.R.L to Count Vittorio Ripa di Meana. He was a well-known and respected lawyer and politician in Italy. He lived at Piazza di Spagna in Rome next to next to the famous Spanish Steps. After all his years in Italy, the car was registered on Dutch registration in late 2021. Here it has always been well maintained, which is also demonstrable with the available documentation.

The classic Italian sports car is a feast for the eyes. This is partly due to the extremely neat and largely original paint, the colour scheme, the luxurious interior, and much more. Nice detail are the original stickers still on the bottom of the engine compartment. As mentioned earlier, the interior has 'Connolly Pelle beige' leather upholstery. Like the carpets, black leather dashboard and light brown leather headlining, this is in clean and original condition. Uniquely, the car has fully functioning dual air conditioning. This can be operated from both the front and rear. Also particularly luxurious for the time are the two sunshades at the rear window and two speakers per seat attached. The engine and chassis numbers are correct, allowing this Ferrari 365 GT4 2+2 to bear the title 'Matching Numbers'! The Ferrari is a joy to drive. The 5-speed manual gearbox and the V12 make for a sporty character, while the level of comfort is also very high.

All documents are present, including original Italian documentation. To start with, there is the stamped Ferrari delivery booklet and Ferrari warranty booklet. The owner's manual and service/assistance booklet are also present. In addition to this documentation, there are several invoices present from the well-known Ferrari specialist Kroymans Automotive. In recent years, over €25,000 has been invested in maintenance. Another special feature is that the complete and original toolkit is present. In short: a beautifully executed car with a rich history, rare originality and valuable maintenance history.

General information about the Ferrari 365 GT4 2+2
At the Paris Motor Show in 1972, Ferrari unveiled an entirely new car to the world. It was the fast, sleek and elegant GT4 2+2 powered by the famous V12 engine. It was the most expensive series produced by Ferrari for 17 years.
The 365 GT/4 is the archetypal model of the 365, 400 and 412 series (the longest production run of four-seater Ferrari models). The series was succeeded by the 456 GT. The 365 GT4 2+2 is easily distinguished from its predecessor and successor by its six rear lights, 5-spoke 'Cromodora' alloy wheels and lack of a front spoiler. Only 524 examples were produced between 1972 and 1976. Under the bonnet is a 4.4-litre V12 producing 340 hp at 7,000 rpm, making it the most powerful four-seater in the world at the time. The Ferrari 365 GT4 2+2 shares many things with the legendary Daytona. For a start, the engines are almost identical. One difference is that the 365 GT4 2+2 has side-mounted carburettors as opposed to the Daytona with downhill carburettors. The 365 GT4 2+2 is roomier and more focused on comfort than the Daytona. For instance, the 365 GT4 2+2 has power steering and a 'transaxle', meaning that the gearbox is placed at the rear. A true GT that lets you go on holiday in peace. Perhaps the finest-driving Ferrari of its time!
