The Ferrari 328 was introduced in 1985 as the successor to the vaunted 308 series of cars, quickly becoming a car synonymous with the late 80s. Although based on its predecessor, the 328 represented an entirely new approach to the sports car market; a softer design inspired by aerodynamics and performance. The classic mid-engined layout was retained, however the 3.2 litre V8 was a step up from the 308 QV motor, now pushing out 270 bhp and capable of launching the 328 to 60mph in less than 6 seconds.

The 328 was on offer in GTB and GTS guise, with the latter far out-selling its fixed-top brother, mainly due to success in the US market. The car was made from 1985-1989, with over 7,000 produced in that time. The popularity of the car was not only down to its iconic styling, but also fantastic handling and true usability that had not been seen in previous mid-engined Ferraris.

The pre-ABS example we are pleased to offer for sale is one of only 292 UK right hand drive examples produced and was delivered new in August, 1987 via Glen Henderson Ferrari in the United Kingdom. The car is finished in Rosso Corsa over a Pelle Crema leather interior with Bordeaux carpets and iconic Black Vinyl Roof panel.

The car is finished in Rosso Corsa over a Pelle Crema leather interior and is currently showing just over 33,000 miles. It presents superbly and has been extensively maintained over the years with a very well stamped service booklet to support this.

It was last serviced at the end of January, 2023 where Ferrari specialists Barkaways carried out a full engine service and mechanical check over. During the service the cambelts were changed and they also replaced the AC belt and water pump belt ensuring the car is on the button and ready to be enjoyed.
