Customization is where these beautiful Italian machines have historically fallen a bit short.
The idea for the Ducati Monster was born when heads of the company asked for a new design that “displayed a strong Ducati heritage but which was easy to ride and not a sports bike”. Talented Ducati designer Miguel Angel Galluzzi set about drafting plans and in 1993 the now-infamous “naked” Ducati was introduced to an adoring public. The exposed trellis frame became the bike’s most signature and iconic differentiating feature.
