The Citroën 2CV. Best known as the "Duckling" or "Ugly Duckling". This iconic French model was created in 1935 with French farmers as its target market. For this, it had to be economical and reliable. The vehicle also had to be able to transport goods comfortably and safely over dirt roads, potatoes, eggs and wine. Originally, the idea was to present the "Deux Chevaux" in the Paris Motor Show in 1939, but due to the war, this did not go ahead and later took place in 1948. Production ran from 1949 to 1990. For reasons of economy, only one headlight was fitted on the prototype. During the test drive, this caused confusion from oncoming traffic who thought they were dealing with a moped. This was then changed to two headlights.

We would like to present to you a Citroën 2CV6 in the luxurious Charleston version. Executed in a chic colour combination of Rouge Delage / Noir. The limited edition differs from the regular production version by the chrome round headlights and the grey interior upholstery with decorative diamond pattern.

This example is in very nice condition. The paintwork is still of neat quality and gives the 2CV6 a luxurious look. The interior is still beautiful and is really a look back in time. Recently retrieved by us from Italy. First registered. on 24-3-1987.

The bodywork has good fits of the bonnet, boot lid, doors, sills and wings. The roof has been renewed in the past and is still in very good condition.

Nicely preserved by the dry climate and the Italian sun!
