For years, the Citroën DS was mainly known as 'the pike', but now enthusiasts are increasingly calling this unique classic by its official model name. That does not alter the fact that this Frenchman deserves his own chapter in every book about classic cars. From the first series with single headlights to the later versions with lighting behind glass: the DS was way ahead of its time, making it still a pleasure to look at and to travel with today.

The beautiful colour makes this DS19 Pallas that you see here a car with which you immediately want to take to the road for nice rides. If there is one car that has its own driving characteristics, it is the DS and this luxurious Pallas is also a very popular version. The Pallas is in excellent condition and lends itself to a lot of pleasant use.
The previous owner also thought about it, he has owned the car since 2004, so we can say that he really enjoyed it.

The bodywork of the DS is neatly maintained. The paint is neat and has a nice shine. A DS is generally not characterized as a car with very thin seams between the smoothly designed sheet metal, but with this DS everything can be described as 'normal for a DS'. The aluminium and chrome are in good condition, although in some parts the material has worn off again. Nothing disturbing, but we deliberately do not use the term 'perfect' here.

The interior is actually how it should be, a red fabric interior with comfortable headrests. Not only is the hydraulic suspension a typical feature, the soft seats, and how comfortable those seats are, make you want to drive to St. Tropez straight away. In front of you the characteristic dashboard of the DS, with three large round meters and the steering wheel with only one spoke. The entire interior can be described as 'neat', and it is clearly visible that the car has been used.

The 2.0 liter four-cylinder is a well-known power source among DS enthusiasts. The engine has 99 HP and is 1,985 cc in size. The DS you see here is equipped with a five-speed manual gearbox. This was not yet standard at the time, but had to be checked as an option.
In keeping with the rest of the car, the bottom is also in good condition. Apparently no work has been carried out and it is not necessary: apart from signs of use, it can be described as 'good'.

You should not miss this DS if you are looking for one of the most comfortable classics available and just want to enjoy driving.
