‘Old friends to new homes’ is a strapline for our little business. Lots of happy customers ask us to sell their car when they have enjoyed and want to move on. Such is the case here. Some 11years ago we sold this delightful XK to its present owner and he has cherished it keeping it in a heated garage and never driving the car in the wet. Indeed the day I demonstrated the car to the owners was apparently the last time the car was rained upon!

A 1958 car originally exported to the USA this super XK returned to Europe in 1998 and was fully restored and converted to right hand drive by The Garage based in the Netherlands. It was then registered in the UK and further uprated to 3.8litre E Type triple 2” carburretor configuration mated to Broadsport 5 speed gearbox with additional brake and cooling upgrades. All this work completed on the last 2000miles. In the present custodianship the car has been further improved to present in excellent turn key condition. Now an ideal grand touring car that is fast and reliable and ready for the coming season.

The owner now an octogenarian has decided it’s time to hang up his string backed driving gloves and spend more time in his caravan. He has looked after the car very very well and the car will be a superb addition to a prospective owners garage.
