Henderson motorcycles were built between 1912 and 1931 at the Excelsior Motor Manufacturing and Supply Co., firstly in Detroit and then in Chicago

At the time, they were the largest and fastest bikes on the market in the USA

Due to their performance, they were favoured by Police Departments countrywide

The Great Depression in the early 1930s saw the demise of the business

This, early Chicago-built, 2Z model is presented in partially restored and mostly complete condition

The engine turns over with compression

Great restoration project that will need major recommissioning or restoration before use

No frame number visible, these bikes would not have been issued with a frame number in period

Appears to have been imported into the UK in the 1970s and is registered with the DVLA

Complete with copy Henderson parts lists, some DVLA correspondence and an old V5

Strictly sold as seen and complete with current V5C

Being offered with No Reserve
