2003 TVR 350C
£30,000.00 | €35,057.79 | $37,666.08

This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, Supercar Fest Sale of Iconic and Classic Cars 2024 on Saturday the 18th of May, Sywell Aerodrome, Sywell, Northampton, NN6 0BN. One of the rarest TVRs ever produced and perhaps the last modern sports car to be launched in such a uniquely British way. Understood to be the first of two 2002 Motor Show cars commissioned by TVR chairman Peter Wheeler and featured in that year's Top Gear British Motor Show Special presented by Suzie Perry.
The factory build-sheet confirms that the car was built for the Motor Show and Peter Wheeler's name is written on the underside of the interior trim, found when the car was later re-trimmed by our vendor. Named for its 3.5-litre petrol engine, the 350 C was produced in limited numbers when compared to more mainstream production sportscars, yet kept the Blackpool workshops pretty busy with 390 examples built.
This car is even more special as it was factory-fitted with a speed-six 4-litre engine and was the car used as a Press Car, still badged as a 350C. Owned by TVR Engineering for the first three years, the car was subsequently purchased by a dealer and our vendor is the third private keeper.
The excellent service history is complemented by a documented engine rebuild at 56,000 miles and the car has been subtly upgraded with ceramic coated manifolds, Sagaris brakes, Bilstein 'S' shock absorbers from the Tuscan and T350 Eibach springs all round.
A unique car that differs in features and power from later production cars, this car's provenance is fascinating and it's presented to auction with a cherished registration number, a huge history file and its Swansea V5C. This rare TVR had covered 82,000 miles at the time of cataloguing and the MOT is valid until August 2024.
