1964 Ferrari 330 SWB California Spider Project

Ferrari 330 SWB Cal Spider Project

1964 Cal Spyder #6515 was built from a 330 GT 2+2 4-headlight car. Originally owned by Tom Shaughnessy. Then purchased by Rich Jackson in Philadelphia. Norwood Autocraft began the conversion to a Spyder SWB by installing it in their frame jig and shortening it.

The chassis was subsequently painted with Black Epoxy. Somewhat after that time Rich Jackson borrowed money against the car from pledge cap in New Jersey. They
picked up the car on 7/17/18. Approximately a year later, the car was shipped back to Norwood Autocraft to be assembled. Norwood Autocraft rebuilt the engine and transmission, went through the rear end and installed it in the chassis.

Norwood Autocraft also installed the rear brakes, calipers and emergency brake system. The car was then shipped to the body shop to have the body fabricated. Work was stopped in 2020 when Covid started, and the project was never finished. The car comes with a copy of the old Minnesota title and the shim chart from the front-end rebuild. Car now has a New York registration.
