MG 14/28 - A Century of Driving Elegance

The MG 14/28 holds a significant place in automotive history as one of the pioneering models from the iconic British automaker Morris Garages (MG). The MG 14/28 showcased the company's commitment to producing sports cars that combined performance and affordability. Under the leadership of Cecil Kimber, MG's visionary founder, the 14/28 exemplified the brand's ethos of creating cars that provided an exhilarating driving experience.

Launched in 1924, the MG 14/28 featured a robust 1.5-liter overhead cam engine, a technological marvel of its time. This engine design, coupled with the lightweight chassis, allowed the car to achieve impressive speed and agility, setting the stage for MG's reputation as a manufacturer of spirited sports cars. The 14/28 quickly gained popularity on both road and track, earning accolades for its racing prowess and becoming a symbol of British motoring excellence.

Throughout its production span, which lasted until 1927, the MG 14/28 underwent several updates and improvements, reflecting MG's commitment to staying at the forefront of automotive innovation. The success of the 14/28 laid the foundation for MG's future endeavors in the sports car market, establishing the brand as a prominent force in the automotive world and contributing to the rich heritage of British sports car manufacturing.
