Following our rousing season-opening sale at Ascot Racecourse, we are delighted to be returning to Farnborough International where, as ever, we will offer a truly eclectic mix of wonderful classics.
An exceptional pre-war masterpiece in the elegant shape of a 1923 Bentley 3-Litre Open Tourer by H.J. Mulliner is most surely one of the early highlights. It is presented in superb condition thanks to its fastidious enthusiast owner of the last 26 years.
Staying with pre-war panache, a 1932 Lagonda 2-Litre Low Chassis Continental Tourer deserves close inspection, its ownership history including an enthusiast who enjoyed it for no less than 53 years.
A wonderful counterpoint to these pre-war masterpieces is another British icon, a 1966 Jaguar E-Type Series I 4.2 Fixedhead Coupé. A splendid RHD matching numbers example, it has been subject to an immaculate restoration by M C Wilkinson to SAYER specification.
Meanwhile, when it comes to more affordable classics, a 1977 Mitsubishi Colt Lancer GSR deserves a top prize. Absolutely immaculate thanks to the most painstaking restoration, this hugely collectible car is immensely rare.
Talking rarity, a 2015 Porsche Boxster Spyder – one of just 277 - will get Porsche enthusiasts’ pulses racing, this limited edition 981 treasure featuring folding carbon seats and just 14,700 miles to its name.
Prior to sale day, get up close and personal with all entries during the three viewing days preceding the sale on Saturday 3 rd May at the Farnborough International.
