Unique Diesel-Powered Ford Truck Set for SEMA 202

Check out this stunning one-of-a-kind 1956 Ford pickup, a labor of love that took over three years and more than 8,500 hours to craft. Just in time for SEMA 2023, you can catch a glimpse of this masterpiece at the Hemmings booth (#22493).

Originally a humble farm truck, this custom classic underwent a complete transformation at Classic Car Studio in St. Louis, Missouri. The skilled team poured their expertise into every aspect, resulting in a showcase of impeccable design and craftsmanship.

The frame was meticulously tailored to accommodate a Porterbuilt Mustang II-style front suspension and a rear four-link, supporting a narrowed 14-bolt rear end. Riding on AccuAir suspension with GoodYear airbags at all four corners, the truck boasts a three-programmable auto-adjusting option, ensuring an optimal ride height at all times.

Every detail of the truck, from the hand-built roof to the bespoke bedsides, intricately crafted bed floor, and internally latching tailgate, bears the mark of exceptional artistry. Custom elements such as the grille, valances, steel firewall, and radiator cover panel elevate the truck's visual appeal, while the stretched and reinforced cab now accommodates rear suicide doors. A meticulous process of steam sanding the clear coat with 8,000-grit paper, followed by expert polishing and buffing, results in a flawless, mirror-like paint finish.

Step inside, and you'll find yourself immersed in a world of bespoke luxury. The custom interior boasts a hand-built steel dash and center console, complemented by meticulously crafted door panels, seats, and headliner, all upholstered in exquisite Relicate leather. A Sparks Billet steering wheel sits in the driver's hands, while Dakota Digital gauges provide precise guidance. Zebra wood inlays tastefully accentuate the cabin's aesthetic.

Powering this beauty is a monstrous twin-turbo 24-valve diesel engine, meticulously crafted by D&J Precision Machine, delivering a jaw-dropping 1000+ horsepower. While we can't convey the exhilarating "new build smell" through text, you can experience the sheer brilliance of this custom Ford truck in person at SEMA this fall.
