2016 Jaguar F-Type Project 7
£205,114.94 | €239,500.00 | $256,600.23

In the summer of 2013, a special prototype was presented by Jaguar during the Goodwood Festival Of Speed. It was the so-called F-Type Project 7, a tribute to the 7 LeMans victories that Jaguar achieved in the 1950s. Jaguar’s special vehicles operation (SVO) division built just 250, which were delivered in 2016 when the legendary D-Type celebrated its 60th birthday.

This is not just any F-Type! The original 5.0 liter V8 version already has a considerable amount of horsepower as standard, but in the Project 7 this was increased to 575 bhp. The roof was completely omitted and the windshield was lowered with 30 mm. Behind the driver, the distinctive “D-Type” hump was added and the front bumper, spoiler, diffuser and rims were modified. SVO developed a custom tuning for the 8-speed quickshift transmission and the electronic active diff, enabling acceleration from 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds. The top speed is limited to 300 km/h . The aluminum body weighs 80 kg less than the standard F-Type and the tailgate, bonnet, louvres, power vents in the front wings and mirror caps are made of carbon.

As extra equipment there is a “Bimini” roof, bucket seats, four-point seat belts and two matching helmets in an identical color scheme to the car. Only two Project 7s have been delivered new with Dutch registration. One is being driven, but this car was added to a collection after delivery. With only 450 km this car is still brand new and this very exclusive Jaguar is a valuable addition to any collection.
