This 1965 Chevrolet Malibu SS has everything you want and need in a cruiser: an engine that starts and runs smoothly, a beautiful paint job, and a comfortable interior. The SS sports an Ermine Ivory White exterior that looks great with the bright steel bumpers and front chrome grille. The American Racing wheels fit perfectly on this slightly lowered muscle car. The body panels are straight, the undercarriage is clean, and the trim and badges add just enough extra character. This is the kind of car that attracts a lot of looks without a lot of flash.

The light blue interior meshes perfectly with the exterior white. The two-tone blue vinyl seats and door panels are in great shape and complement the headliner and carpet, which are also well-preserved. The stock-appearing steering wheel and dashboard are clean, and the gauges are clear and easy to read. All controls and knobs are in good condition, as is the AM radio. The center console hosts a chrome-plated T-shifter, and the other bright components throughout the interior hold their luster as well. This is a very well-maintained, stock-looking interior. Out back, the trunk is just as clean and has plenty of room for cargo, and it has a full-sized spare tire.

The engine bay looks super nice with chrome, stainless steel, and billet pieces. An aluminum radiator is mounted up front, and just behind it are billet brackets attaching the chrome A/C compressor and alternator. The master cylinder has been dressed up, and a chrome intake sits between Chevy aluminum valve covers and an air cleaner cover. Power comes from a 350 cubic-inch engine with GM Performance aluminum heads, an Edelbrock chrome intake, an AVS2 carburetor, and an MSD distributor. This engine is paired with a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission, sending power to a 10-bolt rear axle.

The suspension setup includes front coil springs, shocks, and a thick sway bar, along with rear coil springs, shocks, and heavy-duty trailing arms. The 15-inch American Racing wheels look great on this Malibu and are wrapped in 225/70R15 tires with good tread. For stopping, this Chevy features front power disc brakes and rear power drum brakes. And for a strong, rumbling sound, it's equipped with Hedman long-tube headers, dual exhaust, and Flowmaster mufflers.
