Restored Austin-Healey 100/6 Overdrive equipped with the powerful 3000 Mk III engine, large SU carbs, and a central-shift gearbox with overdrive. Includes a recent maintenance history, heritage certificate, and various invoices. Delivered new in San Francisco and located in the Netherlands since 2019. The previous owner took the time to ensure everything was perfect.

The exterior looks fantastic; the car was resprayed in the Netherlands in the beautiful Austin-Healey duo-tone "Colorado Red and Black," including sporty black spoke wheels. The Big Healey has been professionally polished, and the paintwork looks good with some signs of wear.

During the restoration, several technical features were modified to improve reliability, such as a heavy-duty radiator, front disc brakes, and a new wiring harness with a battery disconnect switch. The strong and smooth BJ8 engine and the central-shift gearbox are also attractive and valuable updates. A stainless steel exhaust was recently installed, and the black spoked wheels with Vredestein Classic tires provide a nice contrast. A few other recent items were also addressed, such as a new steering column pin and new throttle controls. The side windows are very neat, and the black hood is beautifully tight and closes like new.

The interior is beautiful, with a sleek dashboard and newly upholstered seats in black leather with red piping. The classic original steering wheel feels great in the hand, and the finish is excellent. And, very importantly, this Healey drives fantastically, the powerful 6-cylinder engine sounds wonderful, and the overdrive works flawlessly. What a fantastic Healey this is!

It is truly an iconic British sports car; beautiful design, a powerful engine with a fantastic sound, and utterly stylish. Especially in this beautiful duo-tone color with black spoke wheels, it's a rare sight. And a fair price; just compare it online.
