Golf turbo diesel in the stunning GTD version. The 1986 Volkswagen Golf GTD is an early diesel hot hatch, based on the Golf Mk2. The GTD was the sporty diesel variant and was introduced as a fuel-efficient yet lively alternative to the petrol-powered GTI. The Golf Mk2 GTD is now rare and becoming increasingly valuable, particularly original and rust-free examples. Most have been heavily used or tuned over the years, so a well-maintained and original GTD is a sought-after collector’s item. The car has been stored indoors since 2014.
