Very cool Triumph TR5 TR250 finished in Triumph Racing Green. The Triumph TR250 was only built in 1968 in a modest series of 8484 units which were all shipped to the united states, it is estimated that after 50 years about 600 examples remain. This example was fully restored in 1991 by the previous owner who owned it for 31 years. The body was very neatly painted in its original colour at the time, a brilliant and stylish combination with the chrome work of the grille and bumpers, and the whole thing is still in very nice condition. The interior has been tackled and is also in beautiful condition, the seats have beautiful black leather and neat white piping. The wooden dashboard features the original instruments, certainly for its age an extensive set of gauges, along with the original steering wheel gives the interior an authentic look. The technology has also been fully addressed. Under the hood is the potent 6 in line engine fitted with two Stromberg carburettors with an overdrive as a nice option. In short, a rare classic that is ready for some great rides again!
