• The 1998 XL1200S Sportster Sport was a performance-orientated version of the standard Sportster, featuring a dual-disc front brake setup, high-compression heads, hotter cams, fully adjustable cartridge-type front forks and adjustable gas reservoir rear shocks for improved handling and power
• The bike featured cosmetic details like black cylinders with polished fin ends and a unique aluminium powder finish on engine cases, giving it a purposeful and somewhat aggressive look 
• This 1998 example is in running condition and features a raft of performance upgrades including being converted to chain drive, a stronger under-braced alloy swing-arm, along with Hagon shocks and uprated forks
