Heritage Design Edition No. 625/992
When Porsche launched its Heritage Design Edition series, it set out to reinterpret the brand's most evocative styling cues from the 1950s through the 1970s for a new generation of enthusiasts. Three limited-production models followed-the 911 Targa 4S, 911 Sport Classic, and 911 Spirit 70-with the 2021 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition debuting first as a celebration of Porsche's formative decades. Built by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur and limited to 992 units, it combined historic finishes, gold logos, white livery, spear-shaped fender graphics, Heritage badging, and the vintage orange bar crest. Inside, Bordeaux Red or Black leather with Atacama Beige corduroy inserts, green-lit gauges, and a numbered plaque complemented a 443-horsepower twin-turbo flat-six and modern 992 performance.
This particular 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition, limitation number 625, is likely among the more custom examples of Heritage Editions to emerge from the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur workshops. The original owner was not only fortunate enough to secure a Heritage Design allocation but a coveted Paint to Sample (PTS) slot with Porsche noting that the PTS program special requests are integral to satisfying the individual demands that are the core of Porsche. It is finished in the rarely seen historical PTS color of Oslo Blue that harkens back to the 356 B-era of 1962 and 1963. The shade suits the historical nature of the model with aplomb. Porsche describes the interior, here selected in two-tone Bordeaux Red/Atacama Beige OLEA club leather as “Expressive and harmonious and above all timeless.” Furthermore, corduroy fabric makes a return to the interior of the 911, used on the door panels and the seat centers.
Additional options selected at the time of ordering included Sport Tailpipes in Black, Power Steering Plus, Porsche InnoDrive incl. Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Active Lane Keep (ALK), BOSE Surround Sound System, and Adaptive Sport Seats Plus (18-way) with Memory Package are among nine additional-cost factory options that form its build specification on top of an already generous list of standard Heritage Design Edition equipment bringing the total retain price to $204,300.
Its clean CARFAX Vehicle History Report reveals this Heritage Targa was first sold through Rusnak/Pasadena Porsche in June of 2021 where it was purchased by a Hawaii resident; perhaps the perfect car for those driving enthusiasts who enjoy a 12-month driving season living in The Aloha State. CARFAX further records servicing at Porsche Hawaii in Honolulu, and at Rusnak/Pasadena Porsche with its return to the mainland in 2023. Since then, it has received further service work at Porsche West Palm Beach and, most recently, at Porsche Gold Coast in November 2025 with just 1,939 miles recorded. At the time of consignment, this collectible limited edition 911 in its rare Paint-to-Sample hue remains under the 2,000 mile mark as an exquisite example of Porsche's modern-day evocation of its illustrious past.
