The 1980 Yamaha RD125 often designated as DX, is a lightweight, 124cc two-stroke parallel-twin motorcycle featuring a 5-speed transmission, air cooling, and 17-inch wheels. It produces approximately 16-17 horsepower at 8,500 RPM, offering a top speed of roughly 80 mph.

This bike has come from a deceased estate and was an ongoing project which didn’t get completed. It appears that most parts are with the bike but the rear swing arm is missing, however they do appear to be available for not much money. The speedometer is reading zero miles but the original clocks are with the bike and showing just over 30,000 miles, which appears to be correct with the last MOT. It comes with full UK V5, 2 keys, workshop manual and is clear on HPi.
