The 1994 Ducati Monster 900 (M900) is a hallmark of the ‘naked bike’ revolution. Combining a race-derived 888 trellis frame with the air-cooled engine from the 900SS, it was designed to be a versatile, everyday performance machine.
This bike is offered as part of the Adam White collection and has been in long term dry storage and has had the fuel drained. The bikes in the collection have been regularly taken out and started up but they will need a degree of re-commissioning and attention to batteries. Obviously having been long term stored things like tyres and brakes will need looking at prior to any road use.
The above original description of the monster was completely blown apart by the owner almost instantly when purchased back in 1994. A magazine article supplied has an incredible build sheet, which some parts have been swapped, changed or upgraded along the way.
The ‘Sabotage’ currently sits as a rather fun project bike; there is plenty of nice parts to take off and polish including the extended and braced JMC swingarm.
Other impressive notable upgrades are the huge Billet-6 callipers on the front and a billet-4 for the rear. The upgraded Ducati SS forks are held in place by huge Billet triple clamps.
We have little in the way of paperwork but obviously the bike needs recommissioning after being sat as a show piece for a long time. We do not have keys for the bike and note the side stand mounting hole is damaged so will need attention.
