The 1979 Kawasaki KE125 is a lightweight, street-legal dual-sport motorcycle powered by a 124cc two-stroke, single-cylinder engine. Known as a versatile ‘enduro’, it was popular for its zippy performance and ease of handling for young or beginning riders.
This bike is offered as part of the Adam White collection and has been in long term dry storage and has had the fuel drained. The bikes in the collection have been regularly taken out and started up but they will need a degree of re-commissioning and attention to batteries. Obviously having been long term stored things like tyres and brakes will need looking at prior to any road use.
The bike has been stored dry but described as running, it has good compression and appears to be all there apart from the drive chain. The bike has fresh looking shock absorbers, which we assume were replaced due to an MOT advisory on one of the old certificates we have. As the bike has been sat in storage, we would recommend a light recommission.
