The 1977 Yamaha TY80 is a classic junior trials motorcycle, widely considered the gold standard for introducing young riders to off-roading. Part of the legendary TY (Trials Yamaha) series designed with input from champion Mick Andrews; it remained in production with few changes from 1974 to 1984.
This bike is offered as part of the Adam White collection and has been in long term dry storage and has had the fuel drained. The bikes in the collection have been regularly taken out and started up but they will need a degree of re-commissioning and attention to batteries. Obviously having been long term stored things like tyres and brakes will need looking at prior to any road use.
An honest little example we present here in striking yellow and classic speed block design. The bike was displayed in the apex of a roof so has seen little use for several years. Before the bike was stored, it was drained of fuel to save on future recommission work although, we do recommend a service on any vehicle that has been stood for a while.
