The MZ TS250 is an iconic East German two-stroke motorcycle built in VEB Motorradwerk Zschopau. While often called "ugly" by critics of the era, it earned a dedicated following for being rugged, inexpensive, and surprisingly capable.

This bike is offered as part of the Adam White collection and has been in long term dry storage and has had the fuel drained. The bikes in the collection have been regularly taken out and started up but they will need a degree of re-commissioning and attention to batteries. Obviously having been long term stored things like tyres and brakes will need looking at prior to any road use.

‘Ugly’ no more... Believed to have started life as the TS250 model, it’s clear to see the changes made to the popular little 2-stroke. Track bike or road bike? You decide, as this has been UK registered from new. It’s equipped with the usual sportier exhaust, low clip-on bars, higher / fixed footpegs, single seat conversion and sportier rear shocks. This MZ has been described as running but we recommend a light recommission on any vehicle that has been stored for a while. The bike kicks over with good compression and the only visible attention required is the rev counter and ignition need mounting securely.
