Journalists of the time were reportedly ‘astounded’ by its capabilities. Its performance was so intense that some riders described it as "overwhelming". Known for being prone to wheelies due to its immense power and no electronic aids, the simple but striking design captured the world which is why this is still the very much sought after bike today.

This bike is on the button, just MOT tested and ridden into our facility. We have a couple of MOT certificates and an invoice for over £1,000 for a valve clearance service, carburettor rebuild and balance, new Michelin Pilot Power tyres and wheel bearings replaced. Extras fitted to the bike are R&G crash protectors, wavey brake discs front and rear, along with Goodridge brake lines and an aftermarket screen.

Overall, this is a great useable example of a 4XV in the harder to find red and white colour combination. The bike is very presentable with only a few age-related blemishes.
