We are proud to present this Moulton Bicycle; it has only been in the hands of one serious Moulton enthusiast who has certainly cherished this early new series. When they purchased this bike new, it is believed to have been built in the 26th week of 1998 (according to how the serial numbers were stamped).
It looks in very much original condition and still has the Moulton / Lepper Voyager saddle.
It has all the original finishing kit and Shimano Dura Ace group set, even the bar tape is original, which shows how little milage this has done. The hydrolastic rear suspension and two stage flexitor front linkage alone is a work of art, which is why this bike has spent most of its life as a display piece, only coming out for shows and Moulton Bicycle Owner’s meets.
To put into perspective of how special these Moulton bikes are, they are still being made today in very similar spec. with a lead time of about 12 months and a cost of up to £20,000!
