Here we have a Saab 900 Turbo SE Coupe finished in a very striking shade of bright red with anthracite trim. Quite a fetching combination, and it still looks very fresh and bright. The Saab comes with quite a charming story - it had one owner from new until 2017 and then when it came up for sale, the technician from Henleys in Chester, the supplying dealer, who prepared it for sale bought it. The vendor tells us that there is not a lot of history, but it has been serviced at A&A Brooke Saab in Rossett. There is a small collection of invoices and receipts, but by purely looking, you get the idea that it has been looked after.

The vendor also tells us that it is on the correct alloy wheels and is factory standard in every way. It’s quite nice to find a Saab that has not been ‘upgraded’ in some way, this must add to its value and make it collectable to those who want a standard example. It is currently wearing a set of recent Toyo tyres and has Tarrox grooved front discs and uprated pads, again telling you that it has been cared for and looked after. We are also told that the B204 turbo engine is in “perfect” order, as is the gearbox.

We are never going to tell you that it is perfect, but it’s very nice, and probably a lot better than most others on the market. There will not be many of these left, so you may have to look hard to find one. It is a low owner example, with only 4 in total. Best of all, it is being offered at no reserve. So if you want a nice bright Saab to go to shows in, or even if you want a daily driver with a difference then this may be the one for you.
