- Apparently a Rolls-Royce press car
- Very smart looking example
- Becoming very rare and desirable
Here we have a very smart and tidy Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit II finished in the very rare and refreshing colour of Light Oyster over parchment leather with brown piping and Portland stone carpets and burr walnut trim. A very nice and unique colour combination. The reason for this, we are informed, is that it was apparently the Rolls-Royce press and launch car where it proudly wore Rolls-Royce / Bentley’s own registration ‘2000 TU’. The paperwork has copies of magazine articles showing this, although we always recommend checking this for yourself to confirm.
The Rolls presents very well, the history has unfortunately been misplaced but it does come with some invoices, a host of older MOTs, a copy of its factory build sheet, the aforementioned magazine article, owner’s handbooks and spare keys. Interestingly, there are a collection of both owner’s club and insurance valuations that run up to around £20,000. Finding a Spirit in this condition is becoming a rare thing these days, and it’s only a matter of time before the world wakes up to these cars. At the end of the day, who doesn’t want to own a Rolls-Royce at some point in their life?
You only have to look at this example to see that it has been very well cared for and how smart it looks, so why not take a look and decide if it’s one for you to cruise around in and impress all your friends and family.
PLEASE NOTE: The registration ‘TUI 920’ is not included in the sale.
