Owned by its fastidious owner for the last eight years, this XJR offers a great combination of performance, grace and comfort - all wrapped up in a car that looks so much more elegant than a more modern vehicle.

This example is finished in a very attractive shade of dark blue metallic, believed to be Sapphire Blue, with contrasting ivory leather and wood trim.

The paintwork is in fine fettle overall, with only minimal signs of age, wear, and tear. There is some minor corrosion on the rear passenger side arch, but this doesn't detract from what is a great looking example. In addition, the vendor has gone to the trouble of having the paintwork ceramic coated recently which probably accounts for its overall condition. The alloys are tidy, although two of the centre caps are a little faded, and they are shod with high quality Michelin Pilot tyres.

The interior is very tidy with the leather seat facings being in particularly good condition. Like most Jaguars of the period, the headlining has been pinned, but this has been done well.

The history is good with 23 stamps in the book - plus another two stamps for services carried out during COVID (undated) plus the PDi stamp from when the Jaguar was new. In addition, there are a number on invoices in the file, principally for work carried out over the last few years. The latest of these is for £732 in September 2024 for a replacement fuel pump and some welding, £357 in August 2024 for a minor service, and £3,458 from June 2023 for a variety of work.

The vendor tells us he has fitted front and rear cameras, plus an upgraded supercharger pulley.

The Jaguar comes with its original dealer book pack complete with all the owner’s manuals and instruction books - a nice touch.

The vendor also tells us the Jaguar drives as it should and with having the supercharged V8 4.0 litre engine, this is very much the model to have.

These Jaguars are getting very rare now and we suggest that there are not many left in this condition, so don’t miss out!
