Finished in Titanium Grey Metallic, this five-speed manual Porsche 944 Cabriolet’s interior benefits from newly refurbished leather front seats and is complemented by black carpets and door cards, creating a timeless and understated specification.

Owned by an enthusiast for almost twelve years, the Porsche has had considerable mechanical investment during the current ownership, with a strong focus on drivability and reliability.

Recent works include a comprehensive suspension refresh, with refurbished front struts converted to accept Bilstein B6 inserts, new front springs, and Bilstein B6 rear dampers. Following installation, the geometry was professionally checked and adjusted. The braking system has also been attended to with new front discs and pads at approximately 157,000 miles.

Engine and drivetrain maintenance has been thorough, with new cam belts and rollers at 156,000 miles, cam chain slippers replaced as a precaution, and a new clutch fork, bearing, and guide tube installed. Further attention includes a rebuilt power steering rack with new track rod ends, replacement crank and oxygen sensors, refurbished MAF, new TPS and DME temperature sensors, new anti-roll bar bushes, and a replacement exhaust manifold heat shield.

Inside, the front seats and centre console lid have been retrimmed in full leather, carefully matched to the original style and texture, enhancing an already well-presented cabin. The clock display has also been replaced.

The 944 benefits from an impressive factory and period specification, including remote central locking with alarm and immobiliser, electrically operated black soft top, electric windows and mirrors, headlamp height adjustment and wash, electric front seat adjustment for both driver and passenger (with additional height adjustment for the driver), rear seats with belts, and a Sony radio with USB connectivity.

Accompanying the Cabriolet are refurbished Porsche Design 90 alloy wheels shod with Bridgestone S02 tyres showing ample tread, along with the original tools, jack, air pump, space-saver spare, black Porsche over-mats, chrome-tipped exhaust, colour-coded mirrors, and two sets of keys. A history file containing service records, MOTs, invoices, and supporting documentation is also present.

The bodywork is in good overall condition with areas noted for attention around the lower front wings, the front of the rear arches, and the rear wing beneath the battery tray. The hood is taught, although bears a couple of marks where a previously installed wind deflector has pushed up against the inner and some smaller / light tears - typical and honest observations for an example of this age.
