  • Convertible M3 with a hardtop and hardtop stand
  • Very good service history
  • Bookpack and service book present

Presented in Grey with a complementing Black leather interior, this E46 iteration of the 3 Series is offered in desirable M3 form. First registered on 1st September 2002, it features the SMG transmission, with power delivered through the 6-speed manual operated SMG gearbox. Specified for all weather conditions, this example is the convertible model and comes complete with the genuine BMW hardtop and accompanying stand. As expected of the M3, it was well appointed from new, featuring air conditioning, ABS and Harman / Kardon speakers.

We are grateful to the vendor for the following comments on condition:

“The M3 is in great order, with the bodywork very bright and level, nothing nasty to report. Zero rust in the rear arches or subframe, it does have minor micro-blisters on the boot lid. Mechanically, it feels very tight and has been well looked after. It drives great, starts first turn of the key, idles well, pulls hard through the gears, gear change is good from the SMG gearbox, and everything mechanically is working correctly, including the convertible soft top.”

The M3 has benefitted from conscientious maintenance, including replacement rod bearings and bolts, SMG software reprogramming, attention to both front airbags, a full suspension overhaul, and an SMG clutch and pump replacement, among other works.

The original book pack is present and includes the BMW service record, showing the first four entries with a BMW main agent and nine further entries elsewhere, thirteen in total. The recorded services are dated: 18th October 2002 at 1,240 miles; 2nd October 2003 at 11,569 miles; 9th December 2004 at 26,067 miles; 23rd October 2006 at 39,539 miles; 26th February 2009 at 53,390 miles; 12th May 2011 at 63,057 miles; 18th July 2013 at 74,260 miles; 27th February 2017 at 84,409 miles; 21st February 2019 at 91,536 miles; 9th October 2020 at 97,500 miles; no date (basic home servicing) at 102,576 miles; 1st November 2023 at 110,711 miles. Brake fluid changes were completed on 12th May 2011 at 63,057 miles and again on 18th July 2013 at 74,260 miles.

Offered with the original BMW sales wallet, handbooks, and manuals, the M3 also comes with a folder of accompanying history and the V5C.
