The Yamaha RD250LC (Liquid Cooled), famously nicknamed the ‘Elsie’, is a cult-classic two-stroke motorcycle known for bringing racing technology to the street. In the UK, it was remarkably popular as a ‘learner-legal’ bike until legislation changed at the end of 1982, restricting learners to 125cc machines.
What a stunning example of this much loved 80s classic. Although not all genuine bits have been used, this doesn’t detract from what is a really classy rebuild.
