The 2000 Alpina B10 (e39) was available as a 3.3-litre inline-six (280 bhp) or a 4.6-litre / 4.8-litre V8, and featured bespoke Alpina-tuned suspension, 18-inch wheels, and distinctive styling, offering a luxurious, high-performance alternative to the BMW M5. The superb 3.3-litre engine was often favoured for its sharper handling courtesy of its lighter power plant, rack & pinion steering set-up and smooth naturally aspirated responsiveness. Key features of B10’s are forged pistons, bespoke crankshaft, revised inlet and exhaust manifolds, a deeper front spoiler, optional rear spoiler, classic 20-spoke Alpina wheels., Alpina-logo dials, leather steering wheel with blue / green stitching, bespoke springs and dampers, uprated anti-roll bars and a numbered production plaque. Performance figures are awesome, from the factory the B10 3.3 offered 280bhp and 247 lb ft of torque, 0-60 mph in 5.7 seconds and a 160 mph plus top speed.

We are delighted to offer this Alpina B10, numbered 110 as shown on the plaque inside and matching Alpina Chassis Number, of what is thought to be just 112 3.3-litre examples brought to the UK.

Additionally, and as confirmed by the chassis plate, this particular example was supplied (by BMW) to Alpina in sought-after ‘Individual’ bespoke specification.

With few now left on the road (and even less with a manual gearbox), the current owner of 3 years has only used this particular BMW for classic car shows and the odd day out, as supported by the MOT mileage history.

Specified with the optional boot spoiler and complete with Alpina floor mats, Alpina spare wheel, a ‘B10’ numberplate and fitted with an (in period) quality Alpine sound system and sub-woofer, this genuine Alpina B10 3.3 presents extremely well.

The service history is equally as impressive as the car itself. The service book would suggest it was PDi’d by Alpina themselves in the factory on 25/5/2000, then shortly after by Sytner BMW in Nottingham, the sole importers on behalf of BMW for Alpina, on 11/7/2000. It also tells us that the Alpina had the all-important running in service carried out at 1,304 miles by BMW. It then records 13 service stamps (very impressive), 5 brake fluid services and 5 coolant services (even more impressive).

This is an extremely rare example with an impressive history, and the looks to go with it. Treat yourself, there are not many of these around, especially in this condition.
