Estimated Price: £2,000 - £4,000
- Introduced in March 1954 priced at £127, it supplemented (and then superseded) the much loved, but a tad underpowered, 149cc T15 Terrier
- A small bike with big aspirations, the Edward Turner-designed Tiger Cub provided a desirable apprenticeship on two wheels for a generation of youths
- Dating from 1960, this example is an older restoration but still presents well and, we understand, runs well. It's only being sold as our vendor is reducing his collection
- Our enthusiast vendor purchased the Cub from Andy Tiernan Classics in Suffolk in 2022, for a cost of £4,150 (receipt supplied)
- The 'semi-bathtub' original bodywork panels have been removed, a vast improvement
- Supplied with a current V5C (correctly classed as Historic), an old purchase invoice, and the old RF60 log book showing the Cub spent most of its life in the Bucks/ Oxon area
- With smart chrome and excellent paintwork this is an excellent, matching numbers, example of Triumph's 'Mini-Bonneville' and at today's guide seems great value for money
