1969 Rover P6 2000SC, registration number FXC 153G, showing a mileage of 4,961. The car has had one owner/driver from new, with an MOT recorded in 1988 at 3,906 miles, along with MOT records, and an HPI history check. The vendor purchased this lovely old Rover in early 2025 from a deceased estate's garage, where it had been stored since 1989.
The car was originally supplied new in 1969 to the British Consulate in West Germany (Her Majesty's Secret Service). The original-style V5 shows that the car was later repatriated and registered to Mr Needham, for whom it had been ordered by the British Consulate.
Included is the original invoice from The Rover Car Company Ltd dated April 1969, showing a purchase price of £1,005 10 shillings and 6 pence after a special discount to the British Consulate. The invoice also confirms factory options including twin wing mirrors, front seat provision for headrests, a roof aerial, and an ignition coil with anti-theft device.
The car is finished in white with black leather upholstery and comes with a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate. It also benefits from new correct-size tyres fitted to both front and rear.
