This is a truly stunning example of this collectable bike.
The owner has kindly provided the following information:
“Acquired bare frame No 3782601 with V5c at Stafford Classic Show on 25/04/2009.
Between 2009 and 2014 assembled the ultimate MZ TS 250/1 with acknowledged upgrades including conversion to 12-volt electrics with bespoke wiring loom incorporating relays and vape electronic ignition system and Honda TLS front brake.
Genuine MZ parts to complete the project were sourced mainly from the late Fred Rogers (MZ spares specialist), club members and eBay. Engine built with vapour-blasted alloy cases and all new bearings and seals, etc.
Wheels re-built by CWC with s/s spokes and Mitas tyres.
All m/s components stripped etch-primed and re-finished.
Fuel Tank panels re-chromed and new exhaust system fitted.
Dry-stored from completion in 2014 and re-commissioned with new battery in 2026 with speedo reading 3 miles.”
