The Yamaha FZR1000 Genesis (produced 1987-1995) is a landmark superbike that introduced the world to Yamaha's ‘Genesis’ design concept. This concept focused on a 5-valve-per-cylinder engine layout tilted forward at 45 degrees to lower the centre of gravity and allow for high-efficiency downdraft carburettors.

This ‘old skool’ but cool streetfighter has been laid up a little while due to ill health, the bike has some nice little touches and a great load of polishing work. The MOT expired in 2019 but has been run up several times since. A few new fasteners and a little recommission will see a great summer toy for the next lucky owner.
