It’s not often that we see a Mercedes E55 AMG, yet alone one as beautiful as this one. This example was first registered in Japan in 2000 and came to the UK in 2016 where it has been enjoyed ever since. The last owner, who is a very fastidious man and has a very good eye for detail, bought the car in 2019 and it was kept it in a dehumidified garage and not used it much at all. The car was purchased by the current custodian in December 2023, being driven sparingly and dry stored in their ownership.

Offered in Travertine Beige with a contrasting black leather interior, this E55 AMG is showing just over 50,000 miles (the speedo has been changed to MPH) from new. It resided in a dry climate in Japan until 2016 when the first owner imported the car into the UK, which importantly means no rust. Purchased in Japan from an established auction house, this E55 was graded 4.5B, the highest grade a vehicle such as this could achieve. Accompanying this example are original AMG booklets and a service history boasting 12 service stamps carried out at 9,000km, 16,000km, 20,000km, 24,000km, 28,000km, 36,000km, 39,000km, 41,000km, 43,000km, 50,000km and 59,000km. They are in Japanese, but you get to understand what they are when you see them. This E55 AMG Sport is described by the vendor as in great condition and is one of the rare and desirable Mercedes-Benz facelift examples built in 2000. We feel It certainly is one of the best available in the UK at this moment.

The W210 is an executive car produced from 1995 through to 2002 and sold under the E-Class model name in both saloon and estate body types. AMG installed four engines in the W210; the body styling on all of the W210 AMG models was the same until 2000 when a facelift was implemented. The W 210 E55 was the last vehicle for which a major portion of production took place at AMG in Affalterbach. Production was actually split between Affalterbach and the Bremen Mercedes-Benz facility until the end of 2001. Output of the E55 AMG was some 354bhp with a torque figure of 391ft/lb which propelled it from 0-62mph in just 5.7 seconds with a limited top speed of 155mph reputed to be one of the fastest saloon cars of its time and one of the prettiest.

This Mercedes represents a great opportunity to buy a car that will give you endless years of performance, safety and style. As already mentioned, it is possibly the best example around today. Feel free to come and view the car at our purpose built facility and hopefully you will be as impressed with the Mercedes as we are.
