Just out of seven years in heated storage, this lovely TR6 looks to be in very good shape. We think the restoration was done in the mid to late 90s and we are pleased to say that it still presents well today. It certainly looks like the kind of example you could use and enjoy from the minute you collect the keys. It was restored to original factory spec. - no MX5 seats, no Minilite-style alloys, etc. You don’t have to, but you could choose to do a little tidying up underneath the bonnet, nothing serious is needed purely cosmetic. Worth noting that this is a CP chassis numbered example and therefore benefits from the earlier 150 bhp engine, which sounds great.

We are in receipt of a very comprehensive history, so please allow yourself plenty of time to peruse the file which includes old tax discs, previous MOTs, HPI results, lots of receipts and invoices, the original handbook and the Heritage certificate. Oh, and the production notes relating to its appearance on Midsomer Murders III ‘Dead Man’s Eleven’ dated June 1999 and featuring John Nettles as DCI Tom Barnaby and others such as Imelda Staunton and Robert Hardy. Very interesting stuff, and you could probably find the episode on YouTube.

This is a great opportunity to own a good TR6, that with a little bit of fettling, could be a great TR6.
