The first Ducati Scrambler was presented in 1962, equipped with a 250 cc 4-stroke single-cylinder engine, free exhaust, and knobby wheels, intended exclusively for the US market. A few years later, in 1968, the Scrambler for the European market was presented; the knobby wheels disappeared, and it was offered in three different displacements—250, 350, and 450 cc—with the classic single-cylinder engine with single overhead camshaft distribution controlled by a shaft and bevel gears.

It immediately became an object of desire for young riders, thanks to its captivating aesthetics and bright colors. The offered 450 is in excellent condition and original. It has benefited from a meticulous restoration by the well-known Leoncini workshop, specialized in Ducati. Always in a private collection, it represents one of the best examples on the market. A general check is recommended before use.
