At the 1984 Bologna Motorshow, Honda presented the amazing eighth-of-a-liter sportbike named the NS125F, which would be the first 2-stroke motorcycle produced at the Atessa plant. 124.5cc single-cylinder 2-stroke engine with reed intake and exhaust valve, credited with a maximum power of approximately 25 HP, double-cradle frame in rectangular steel tubes, front suspension with telescopic fork, and rear swinging arm with mono-shock and Pro-Link progressive action system, hydraulically operated front disc brake, rear drum, 16” front wheel, and 18” rear wheel. Declared weight 124 kg with a top speed of 140 km/h, the new reference point for the 125 class.
