Sir Jim Ratcliffe's INEOS made its first move into automobiles with this rugged and versatile 4x4. Proudly wearing its off-road influences on its sleeve, the INEOS Grenadier is named after the well-known Belgravia pub in which the idea was conceived (and which Ratcliffe also owns). Ratcliffe and the newly-formed INEOS Automotive spotted a gap in the market for a boxy, utilitarian vehicle, and - sitting around a table in Ratcliffe's favourite pub - set to work.

The result was one of the most hotly-anticipated 4x4s in recent memory; well-built and extraordinarily practical, production began in July 2022, and the first cars were delivered in December 2022. Under the bonnet, the BMW-derived turbocharged 3.0-litre inline-six diesel engine delivers 245bhp and 406lb-ft of torque to all four wheels through a ZF-supplied eight-speed automatic transmission. The interior remains utilitarian, yet comfortable, and extremely intuitive, with each switch, button, toggle, and feature clearly labelled and positioned. If you're unhappy with the touchscreen-heavy interiors of today's cars, but don't want to go full-Luddite, this may be your answer.

This low-mileage Grenadier is offered by its only owner and with well-chosen options, has been specified to be highly capable off the road as well as refined on it. The grey paintwork and black leather interior are reported to be in excellent condition, showing very little wear. The Grenadier is a true 'go anywhere, do anything' car, equally well-suited to Kensington or the Cotswolds and with a single owner from new and a sub-20k mileage, this one is still almost fresh out of the box. Its first MoT is due in September 2026 and with a sensible estimate, it is not to be missed. Consigned by Charlie McCreery
