Supplied new by Jack Barclay on 27th February 1985 to a Mr Kachelo of Kensington, London, for the eye watering sum at the time of £67,000. In today’s money that is £204,626! Even if anybody was to build a car like this today, it would never have the majesty that a Corniche could give. This is an imposing example that transports you in total luxury and, with the hood lowered, offers a memorable experience that only a Corniche can deliver.

The accompanying paperwork is equally as stunning, with things like an invoice for over £5,500 for a refresh after it came out of a very special and private collection. Even more impressive are the bills and receipts from days gone by. A very nice thing is the original build sheets and road test reports from Rolls-Royce when it was built to order especially for Mr Kachelo to his chosen specification. And he chose very well indeed - Willow gold with magnolia hide piped in brown with a matching dark brown hood. A very classy and individual colour combination and one that is very befitting to an example of this level and expense.

This amazing Corniche also benefits from very low ownership with only four previous owners, which is very nice. A great indicator of how well this fantastic example has been cared for.
