Established in 1921 in Mandello del Lario, Italy, the company is noted for its historic role in Italy's motorcycling manufacture, its prominence worldwide in motorcycle racing, and industry innovations.

This bike has come from a local vendor who has owned it since around 2015. It has been stored in a local bike dealership and displayed at a number of classic bike shows and exhibitions. It has been ridden around the NC500 in 2024 with no issues.
