The BMW R26 is a classic single-cylinder motorcycle produced between 1956 and 1960. It is often called the ‘Swiss Watch’ of motorcycles due to its exceptional build quality and smooth, quiet operation.

This machine presents lovely with a freshly coated frame and many other parts reconditioned. The rebuild has been very tasteful and certainly not over restored so still retains a lot of charm and can still be used to its fullest. The wheels have been replaced and fresh tyres fitted. This little single starts with ease and runs like a Swiss watch with a very quiet motor and a lovely note from the exhaust pipe. We have a handful of invoices from recent parts fitted, also supplied is a BMW workshop manual and handbook - also note the original handpump in place on the frame lugs. Overall this is the perfect way in to the classic bike world but with the added bonus of German quality!
