- Four bikes were run by the Kawasaki France team (only 2 are known to exist today) including this surviving frame number #389
- Numerous good results were achieved during the 1989 season including 7th at Le Mans, 4th at Spa and 15th at the Bol d'Or with riders Stepane Coutelle, Christophe Mouzin and Jehan d'Orgeix
- This example is presented in good overall condition, mostly original and in running order
