The Vespa Douglas 125 refers to one of the final British-built scooters manufactured by Douglas Ltd. in Bristol before they transitioned to being an importer for Piaggio. By 1965, Douglas had largely shifted production from 125cc models to the 150cc Sportique, which was based on the Italian Vespa VBB. While ‘Vespa Douglas 125’ often refers generically to the earlier British-made models like the 152L2, by 1965, an official 125cc model from Douglas would typically be an imported Piaggio unit or a rare leftover from previous production runs.

What a great example of this classic scooter. This bike has come to us from a private scooter collection and is a truly lovely example.
