  • Impressive service history

Finished in the ever-desirable Boston Green with Black leather upholstery, this 1995 BMW M3 (E36) is a highly original UK-supplied example of the iconic straight-six performance coupe. First registered on 20 January 1995 and presented with its sought-after five-speed manual transmission, the car has covered 126,866 miles supported by an extensive history file and service record.

This example has had five former keepers and has formed part of a private BMW collection since 2020, spending much of that time in storage and seeing only limited use for MOT appointments and maintenance purposes. The MOT is valid until November 2026.

The accompanying service history is particularly impressive, with 22 stamped entries recorded in the original service book, including 13 BMW main dealer stamps during the car’s early life. The maintenance record charts regular servicing from just 1,070 miles in June 1995 through to later specialist care, supported by a substantial folder of invoices and MOT certificates dating back to 2000. Recent maintenance carried out in March 2026 includes a new water pump with gasket and replacement auxiliary belt idler pulley.

Factory equipment includes air conditioning, ABS, alloy wheels, power steering, leather upholstery and a convertible soft top. The car is also fitted with a Sigma tracker and immobiliser system.

The vendor advises that the car drives very well, with all major functions appearing to operate as intended. The car is recorded as Category N, with the noted damage described as light and confined to the area between the bonnet and bumper, requiring replacement grilles, grille panel and headlights only. Importantly, the bonnet, wings and bumper are stated to remain original factory panels.

Cosmetically, the car presents well overall, with only a few minor items noted for attention. The electric aerial for the radio is currently inoperative and will require replacement, there is some loosening to the headlining around the rear quarters, and the driver’s seat has a couple of small areas requiring minor repair.

Now increasingly collectible and widely regarded as one of BMW M Division’s defining modern classics, the E36 M3 offers an engaging analogue driving experience combined with everyday usability. Presented in a rare and attractive colour combination with extensive history and long-term enthusiast ownership, this is an appealing opportunity to acquire a usable and highly original example of the marque’s celebrated performance coupe.
